Refunds, Testing & Troubleshooting
Test DigetPay payments, process refunds, prepare your OpenCart store for production, and troubleshoot common integration issues.
Test payment
- Set Environment to Staging (Fin) in the extension settings.
- Add a product to your cart and proceed to checkout.
- Select DigetPay and complete the payment on the hosted page.
- Confirm the order status updates to Processing or Complete.
Use test cards from the Fin Staging Guide.
Refunds
- Open the order in Sales → Orders.
- Use the DigetPay refund action, or issue the refund via the Process Refund API if the option is exposed in the admin panel.
- Confirm the order status reflects the refund.
Refunds require a stored transaction ID from a successful webhook. If the order never left Pending, fix the webhook first.
Go live
- Set Environment to Production and switch to your production API key.
- Register the production webhook URL in the production dashboard.
- Place one real test order and verify the transaction and settlement in the dashboard.
Common issues
| Problem | Fix |
|---|---|
| Order stuck on Pending | Register the HTTPS webhook and check the callback URL in dashboard logs. |
| DigetPay missing at checkout | Make sure the extension is enabled, Status is set to Enabled, and the modification cache is refreshed. |
| Payment succeeds, no webhook | Check whether a firewall is blocking the POST request and verify that the webhook URL exactly matches the extension configuration. |
| Refund fails | Ensure the original transaction ID was saved on the order. The successful webhook must have been received first. |
| SSL errors | Install a valid SSL certificate. HTTP stores are not supported. |
